Our company is dedicated to finding new solutions to everyday problems for the growing population in urban cities around the world. With 70% of the world’s population living in urban cities by 2025, commuters will need a more efficient, compact, and sustainable mode of transportation to get them from their home to the office, and everywhere in between.

In the past 12 months we’ve been featured in a myriad of press (CNBC, WSJ, USA Today, BBC, NBC, ABC, Washington Post, LA Times, Reuters, FOX, Mashable, TechCrunch, CNET, and more), we’ve partnered with incredible companies (Amazon, Whole Foods, Fairmont, W Hotels, WeWork, Goldenvoice, Nordstrom, HPE, Pandora, Metrolink, Jamestown LP, Microsoft, and more) and we’ve sold thousands of foldable electric vehicles to individuals and organizations in 30 countries.

That was 2016.

Office Manager

URBAN626 is looking for an Office Manager for our Pasadena office who is prepared to work in a fast paced environment. The Office Manager will assist in the day-to-day operations at the retail office. Candidates with experience in administration and operations are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

  • Extremely organized and detailed
  • Maintain company calendar and schedules
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to research information, figure things out, and improve on systems
  • Willing to learn, be challenged, and ask questions when needed
  • Personable with ability to supervise and be a team player
  • Graphic design using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop a plus but not required
  • Experience using Google apps and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with POS systems a plus.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage company insurance policies, health care benefits, employee records, etc.
  • Schedule interviews and appointments
  • Run background check and handle paper work for new hires
  • Purchase and maintain record of company assets—laptops, printers, office supplies, etc
  • Arrange for installation and maintenance of services—internet, phone, water, air-conditioning, etc

Director of Digital Marketing

The Role:

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Director of Digital Marketing to spearhead our online initiatives and marketing efforts.

What does that mean? The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for nearly our entire online presence, from owned media to earned media, building awareness and driving sales for our product line.

This candidate will be someone who loves working in fast paced environments and is passionate about how companies and brands can market themselves online. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to multitask, coming up with ideas and executing on them.

We are looking for someone who loves to get involved and doesn’t rely on agencies to get the work done.

Community Manager

URBAN626 is looking for a Community Manager for our Pasadena office who is experienced in creating and implementing campaigns that build a cohesive community among URB-E owners via offline and online efforts.

The Community Manager for URBAN626 supports growth initiatives that create conversations, tell our story, improve brand awareness and positioning, and increase sales, through growing our community. The candidate will be a face for our company, connecting to our owners and future owners through in-person, online, and PR efforts.

Additionally, the Community Manager will spearhead our ambassador and affiliate programs, a cornerstone of our B2C sales and marketing efforts.

Candidates should be passionate about writing, conversing, and connecting with individuals who are current or future owners of URB-E. This includes leveraging earned and owned media to engage new potential customers while retaining current customers.

Candidates should have an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to plan and execute successful strategies, constantly refining these campaigns to deliver results. We are not looking for consultants or recommendations – we are looking for someone who is driven to execute.

Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a professional retail sales associate for our store in Old Town Pasadena. Candidates must have prior retail experience and have the ability to engage with a variety of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
  • Have a solid understanding of the URB-E in terms of functionality and use.
  • Ability to answer customer questions in confidently and professionally.
  • Work as a team player with other retail sales associates to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
  • Process customer transactions using POS system.
  • Make customers part of the URB-E community, invite them to local events and to engage with us on social media.
  • Ensure that the retail area is kept orderly and presentable.

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals
  • Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and coworkers
