I LOVE MY URB-E
I am a young female senior. I got my URB-E (with a basket) about two months ago. Let me tell you, I am the happiest person on earth with my little mobility item. Everyone stares. That’s funny, but I don’t care, I care about getting from home to Santa Monica College along the bike paths in the City of Santa Monica. I also take it to the beach and enjoy the scenery. My most enjoyable is that I go to Trader Joe’s on Olympic. I take the Metro, get off Bundy and there I drive my scooter several streets, Get my items, put them on the basket and take the Metro Line back. It is so much fun. I DO NOT NEED TO RIDE A CAR, PAY INSURANCE, TICKETS, MAINTENANCE AND MAYBE MONTHLY CREDIT PAYMENTS. NO WAY!

Saves me money, cuts through traffic! URB-E is the best utility scooter hands down!
The URB-E is the clear top of the line model for collapsable, fully electric transportation. It’s easy to bring on crowded trains, into restaurants and Cafes, even bars allow me to prop it up next to me. I have not yet been stopped trying to bring it in with me to any store front. It’s very easy to ride too, even my parents of 60+ years of age were able to get the hang of it after only minutes of riding.
With the basket attachment, the URB-E functions as the perfect shopping cart and it’s speed isn’t effected despite the heavy loads that I have been transporting on it. I’m not the lightest guy either, weighing 180 lbs, I have yet run out of battery while commuting to work or running errands. The URB-E has completely replaced my car and I haven’t purchased gas in 3 months because of this amazing device, I can already see the benefit in my bank account. Their financing options are also incredible, 12 months interest free, you can’t go wrong! I’m paying less than a $100 a month for this thing, cheaper than any Vespa or motorcycle.
Another thing to note is the great customer service and personal touch of the URB-E team. I was riding my URB-E hard and a small plastic cap fell off as I was riding (My fault, like i was riding it like a dirt bike), without any hassle the URB-E team shipped me a replacement part within the next few days. It’s nice to be able to talk to a support representative and actually be able to go to their location in Pasadena, CA and meet him in person. Brandt was great getting those replacement parts to me and also helping me ship an URB-E to my GF in Tokyo, Japan (Yes I purchased 2, I love these things so much). Amazing gifts for the Japanese btw, it doesn’t require registration or insurance by current law due it not being formally classified by the Japanese transit authority, bikes do tho, so yet another penny saved there (If your in Japan).
All in all, the URB-E has changed my life, it’s saving me money on my commute everyday, it’s gotten me out of the daily BS that is LA traffic and turns heads wherever I go. Don’t be fooled by less expensive imitators, the URB-E is built to last and withstand heavy use unlike any other model on the market.

… a few months ago and have been having the best time of my life
I purchased my URB-E a few months ago and have been having the best time of my life. I am a young 65 year old but love the convenience, ease of movement and taking it everywhere! Whether it is just running down the street to the general store or an occasional trip to work, you cannot beat the URB-E. Looks great and very reliable. What a GREAT little machine. If you don’t have one, borrow one from a friend and give it a spin. You will fall in love! I live in the suburbs of Boston on the shore south of the city. It’s great for city travel when I go and use it there. Just take it with you on the subway to and from the station! I cannot say enough about this great little piece heaven. You will love it too!

Great to have for extended vacations
I’ve always believed you needed a car to live in LA. But on this trip, Urb-e proved me wrong. This year we’re spending a month in Venice Beach bungalow and Urb-e’s been perfect for helping us expand what is explorable without a car in LA. Let’s face it, because LA is so spread out and public transportation is pretty fragmented — walking is just not practical.
We picked up 2 Urb-e’s from their shop in Pasadena and spent the rest of the day touring around the area getting used to the new transports. I was an avid cyclist in my youth, so Urb-e felt very familiar and easy to use right away. My partner, on the other hand, had far less bike experience… Let’s just say some people might need a bit more time than others getting comfortable riding the Urb-e (especially when using bike lanes on busy streets).
Our First Full Day with Urb-e
We met up a with a few friends for lunch at a spot near Abbot Kinney. We were a little unsure about bringing the Urb-e’s into the restaurant, but the waiter quickly found us a spot close to where we were sitting to park them. No big deal. After lunch we headed to Third Street Promenade. We found a bike rack outside Nordstrom’s and used the ABUS locks we got from the Urb-e store. These locks fold up and strap to the front of the scooter. Very cool, very convenient. Heading back, we started near the pier and watched the sunset as we urb-e’d along. The bike path connecting Santa Monica to Venice beach was truly awesome on an Urb-e.
So far, the Urb-e has been a real asset on our trip. A big positive is that they fit in a standard car trunk. We’ve had no problems getting 2 into our Uber driver’s trunks.

For my husband’s birthday.
I did purchase a black one for my husband’s birthday.
He absolutely loves it.
He uses it at the drag races to zip around the pits in between races.
Light weight, folds up easily for storing in our trailer, and easy to ride.
P.S. When I called to order it, I specified that I needed it by Oct 18th so the birthday gift. And it arrived exactly on time.

I had my Electric Blue Edition Urb-E for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. I don’t commute on it since there is no train to my work, but I pack it in my trunk and use it to go between the buildings at work and ride it straight into my office. Everybody there loves this beautiful machine and oogles over the machined pieces on it. On the weekends I use it to go to the beach with it since parking right by the beach is so expensive. So I park further away for free and ride down. My dog sits on my lap while I’m riding or runs next to me when we get to the beachwalk. Couldn’t be happier with it.

I bought one two weeks ago. I love it. It helps me to and from the Metro in Southern California so that I don’t have to sit in traffic to and from work. I feel like I made a great investment and would recommend one to anyone who has small daily trips to make.

So far, everything its cracked up to be!!!
Ive had URB-E for about a month now, and my god, what a game changer. I scoot around the Sacramento Grid with ease, my daily 1.8 mile commute to my train station is now under 10 mins, the amount of looks i get is hilarious. The URB-E is basically the equivalent of having the cutest puppy ever with you, everyone wants to stop and talk to you about it. It does take some time to get really comfortable on it, the front pegs in my opinion are useless. Really hope they come out with some fenders soon, the kickup from the back tire can get it pretty dirty. Very happy with my purchase and by far and away the best customer service ive experienced buying any product ever.

I have my mornings back !!
The URB-E has saved my commute. I take the metro every day to my job and it’s only 2 miles from my house. Every day I would wake up at 5AM to park my car at the metro station by 6:15 after getting ready for the day. I have my permit to park yet I still have to wake up incredibly early to find a space. I live so close yet have to wake up so early just to get guaranteed parking. I live near Azusa and work in Pasadena so taking the metro saves me from waiting 2 hours a day sitting in traffic. Then I got my URB-E it’s saved my commute and made it so much better. Now I leave my car home all together and take my URB-E to the metro. I now can wake up at 6:30!! and be at the metro at a reasonable time never having to worry about finding parking before it fills up. It’s given me my mornings back which that alone is worth it to me. Now I can work on more things towards the end of my day. My URB-E folds up easily when I take it onboard the metro and isn’t in the way. It’s range is crazy I never worry about the battery lasting my commute. Getting off the metro I ride to my coffee shop then to work. On my lunch break I can ride anywhere and I actually have the most of my 30 minute lunch. It’s all made in USA and designed in the city I work in Pasadena! There is no company like this out there. If you are looking go to the store and at least test drive it it’s a must !
