Excellently Engineered, FUN, Lightweight, FUN, Versatile and Yes it’s FUN!!!!!!

I visited the URB-E store today to test ride a PRO-GT. I was not 100% on buying one today but I was able to test ride the unit other then in the store (Simon (friendly & knowledgeable associate) took me to a park 2 blocks away with grass, loose dirt, obstacles, etc.) I intend to use the URB-E in all environments and it past the test with no issues. The unit is built sturdy, a very smooth ride, extremely quick and re-active when you hit the throttle. I was very impressed for the overall appearance, craftsmanship, performance but most of all it was built in Pasadena (PHS ’72), in our great country the U.S.A. Well folks I did end up buying one today and I know I won’t be disappointed. Thanks again Simon and the URB-E company. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

loved it so much we bought another one

I have a grey pro GT with pink inserts. I loved it so much we bought another one (black and red) and now my husband and I cruise downtown Nashville daily. It’s honestly the best thing I could have purchased for getting me to and from work. Handles great, powerful even up hills, battery life is awesome, easy to drive and maneuver and the accessories are great. Phone stand is a life saver. The customer service is top notch. Answered all my questions. Made sure it shipped out asap. Bought my husbands Urb-e on a Tuesday, I received it the next Wednesday. Right after July 4th. So the holiday didn’t slow down shipping. I get asked all the time about it. Definitely turns heads. Do yourself a favor, just get one. Worth it!

I love the SPORT

Just received the SPORT and have been riding around the neighborhood following my kids on their bikes. I overheard a few neighbors say “What the heck is that”, so expect to turn heads and get questions while riding one. The speed is sufficient and it handles surprisingly well. I am an avid cyclist so I’m used to being on two wheels though. I’m used to a certain level of rigidity because of the bike but I can see where someone would think the ride is a bit stiff. Overall it’s fun as hell and I’m going to take the leap and buy the PRO. While I love the SPORT I think I want more power and speed. I’ll give the SPORT to my wife.

We love our urb-e

I bought 2 to take camping, riding around campgrounds, a lot easier than hauling a golf cart. My only complaints are the cup holder doesn’t hold things and the light we mounted on the front never seems to work but I guess those are Just accessories. We never make it around the campground without people stopping us and asking about it. We love riding our urb-e.

It’s transformed the way I get around town.

If you’re looking for some anonymity, do not buy an URB-E. 😅 I got one of these Made in the USA foldable electric vehicles in March, and it’s transformed the way I get around town.

I’ve brought it inside of bars, restaurants, the office, and friend’s houses. The URB-E goes everywhere, good for 20 miles of range and 15mph. I mean, this thing turns heads – I got stopped no less than 4 times today! It’s always fun explaining what this thing actually is.

Anyways, my conscious decision to live, work, and enjoy central Austin means I don’t need a car much. Between the walking, biking, bussing, rideshare, and this – I have an amazing array of options and rarely deal with stressful commuting in the car. Wave if you see me on it! 😎

Well worth the wait.

Well worth the wait. Everything about this is so well designed. Got the basket and the phone holder. Love how everything clicks into place. This this is amazing. Personal portable transportation system.
Got the urb-e pro-GT.

Gets me to and from the metro on my way to work and back.

A point that was of interest to me: I was worried about doing hills with this thing. Wasn’t sure it would be able to cut it. It works like a champ. I weight 190lbs and I have a ~20 degree hill on my way home and the urbe eats it alive.

Another good use case: shopping. Don’t bother taking the car down town and losing your mind with parking and traffic. Just urb-e your way out there, turn your urb-e into a small supermarket basket by folding it, do your shopping, unfold it and zip home. Perfection.

So Far, So Good!

I recently took delivery of an URB-E Sport GT. I decided on the Sport, instead of the Pro, because I like the design of the handlebars and the way they fold. Also, the slightly lower weight. The tradeoff was a little lower top speed, and shorter range. But I think it is worth it.

My office is in Rosemead, and I commute to the El Monte Metro Link station. Before, I would take a shuttle from the Metro Link station to the MTA bus station, then ride a bus that goes all over South El Monte before going by my work. And waiting around for the next bus.

Now, I hop off of the train, jump on the URB-E, and go! It’s about 22 minutes from the train to the front door of the office, which by bus would take about 45 minutes, with much less hassle.

Other uses for the URB-E: Took my car to a shop in Claremont, rode down to the Metro Link Station, and from the Metro Link Station to my house. I was able to avoid asking anyone for a ride, pay for an Uber, etc.

The Sport GT achieves a top speed of 14 mph as specified. I estimate my range to be about 10 miles (depending on terrain, hills, really zap the battery due to my weight) which suffices for most of my contemplated uses.

All in all, the URB-E has helped to transform my commute into a much more relaxing experience.

I couldn’t be happier!

I have had an URB-E for a little over a month now. I live and work downtown, and do not own a vehicle. This new ride has been the best surprise. I am able to get to various neighborhoods around the city to meet up with friends, I am able to take it to the grocery store, and most importantly it is a blast to ride. It is a conversation starter to say the least and perfect for the urban commuter. I couldn’t be happier!
